On February 27th, the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin (D.0. Ribera) dazzled wine lovers at the Verema Valencia Experience held at the prestigious Hotel Las Arenas. Under the suggestive title “The New Projects of the Ribera del Duero of the 21st Century”, this tasting promised a sensory journey through the most innovative and exciting wines of this renowned Spanish wine region.
At the tasting, masterfully conducted by Alberto Tobes, Director of Experimentation CRDO Ribera, and as he has shown on other occasions, one of the people who best knows the area and its wines.
The attendees were able to enjoy the great wines of:
Dominio de Calogรญa.
Red wine from Bodega Dominio de Calogรญa. This was one of the most surprising wines of the day. It had great intensity and complexity on the nose. The aromas were constantly changing and in the palate it stood out for its volume, but it was also very persistent.
