He describes Dominio de Calogรญa Doble M 2022, a wine from the โLa Lomaโ vineyard parcel, as having โpronounced freshness and beauty in its fruity expression, fluidity and precision wrapped in a minimal touch of opulence, with balanced definition that firmly drives it along the path of elegance.โ
In this dry and hot vintage, the vineyard was managed differently, avoiding leaf thinning in order to keep the grape clusters shaded and to fine-tune the harvest date with precision. Extraction was kept limited, and a cautious use of oak also proved decisive.
